It’s tough to beat the day Sung Hyun Park had yesterday. She announced via a press release and Instagram post that she’s got a new hat deal, with Solaire now emblazoned across her headwear. The deal runs for the next two seasons, replacing her previous deal with Hana Financial Group.
That’d be a great day in and of itself for the two-time major winner. Adding on to it, shortly after the announcement, the Rolex Rankings No. 2 golfer went and practiced alongside Tiger Woods for a photo and video shoot for TaylorMade, their club sponsor.
Both players were filmed hitting driver, as Park added the new TaylorMade M5 Driver to her bag. It replaces the TaylorMade M3 she used last season, which put her sixth in driving distance on Tour.
In her press release, Park’s team noted “(She) will soon reclaim the world number 1 spot.” Spending an afternoon with one of the greatest golfers of all time can only help her achieve her goal.
