GILBERT, Ariz. — The LPGA Tour heads to Gilbert, Ariz., for its seventh event of the 2024 season, the inaugural Ford Championship presented by KCC at Seville Golf and Country Club. Nine of the top 10 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings are set to duke it out for a share of a $2.25 million purse, most notably last week’s champion and current No. 1 Nelly Korda and 20-time LPGA Tour winner Lydia Ko, who will once again be looking to earn the 27th point necessary for automatic qualification into the LPGA Hall of Fame in Arizona this week. Fifteen of the 26 2024 LPGA Tour rookies will also compete, as will all five of this year's winners, including major champions Hannah Green and Patty Tavatanakit.
