Applicants have one (1) calendar year from the time the application fee is paid to attend the Level I Teacher Education Program (TEP) and take the Level I written exam. If this timeline is not met, the Applicant will be required to reapply for membership. (Example: If the application fee is paid on May 6th of the current year, then the deadline to take the Level I class and written exam would be December 31st the following year.)

Teacher Education Programs are open to non-members and non-applicants based on space availability in each program. Applicants and members receive priority into all LPGA programs.

|Level I Teacher Observations|
Applicants are required to complete observation hours with a Class A member of the LPGA, PGA or CPGA and return the appropriate forms to LPGA Headquarters. Forms and information can be found on the Level I Observation registration page on the T&CP calendar of events.
|Teacher Education Program (TEP) and Written Exam|
A four (4) day, classroom-style program in Daytona Beach, FL and 100 question (multi choice and true/false) written exam on the final day.Topics of discussion from the LPGA Level I Manual (provided as a digital copy only) include:
Once your dues are paid, you will become an LPGA Apprentice member. You will be sent an email with the Level II education materials and requirements and receive a new-member packet and LPGA Member ID card.
