5'5-1/2"…Nick-name: Frenchy…An all-around athlete, she was a member of the basketball, volleyball, skiing and track teams at the University of Montreal, from which she graduated with a BS in physical education…Became interested in golf by caddying for her brother, Gilles, a teaching pro who was her first instructor…Very outgoing, personable and demonstrative… Enjoys dancing, reading and writing.

Career Highlights
It took Jocelyne very little time to get established on Tour as she was named Rookie-of-the-Year in 1972 and nearly won a tournament, losing to Kathy Whitworth in a playoff in the Southgate Open. The following year she did win her first pro event; appropriately, it was LaCanadienne in Montreal. Injuries have severely hampered her the last three seasons, but she hopes to bounce back stronger than ever.

Amateur
One of Canada's greatest young amateur players, Jocelyne won many titles, including the Quebec Junior in 1963, '64 and '65, the Canadian Open in 1965 (match play) and '71 (stroke play), the Eastern Province Championship from '67 through '70 and the Ontario Open in 1971. She won the individual title at the World Amateur Championships in Spain in 1970, and in 1971 won the New Zealand Women's Amateur. In 1972 she became the first woman ever named French-Canadian Amateur and Pro Athlete-of-the-Year, and she was also named Canadian Woman Athlete-of-the-Year.
