• Who introduced you to golf and when did you start playing?

  My parents introduced me to golf when I was 6 years old.

• Why do you love to play golf?

  I love to play golf because it is challenging and fun. I have learned so many important lessons from playing golf that I can apply to my everyday life. I also love to travel to play various courses.

• What do you like most about Girls Golf?

  Girls Golf has played a great role in my love for golf. The lessons that I have learned have helped me become a better golfer. I have also had the chance to meet new girls that love the game as much as I do. It is always great to have a great support system and Girls Golf has always encouraged me.

• Why do you recommend golf to more women and girls?

  I would recommend golf to all women and girls because golf is so rewarding. Golf is challenging, but you have a lot of fun. I would like all women and girls to give it a try.

• How can golf be more welcoming to black women and girls?

  Golf can be more welcoming to women and girls like me by exposing more individuals in the communities that would not normally be exposed to golf. Additionally, golf courses can be more welcoming to all people. It is also important to have mentors for women and girls like me so that there is a more diverse female representation in golf. Ensuring resources are available is also essential to making certain all women and girls can be given a chance.

• What is your #LittleGirlBIGDream?

  My #LittleGirlBIGDreams are to play on a college golf team, play on the LPGA, and to inspire other girls to play golf.

• Who would be in your dream foursome?

  My dream foursome is Renee Powell, Tiger Woods, President Barack Obama, and myself.
