Alison Lee is currently ranked 3rd in Putts per GIR and 5th in Putting Average so there is no surprise that it's her favorite part of the game.
"There are so many different types of chips and putts that you can have on the golf course and it's always something new," explained Lee. "It's the final determining factor of whether or not you can score and it's also a second chance to save yourself on a hole if it didn't get off to a great start. It's what keeps the game interesting for me. You can never practice on your short game too much."
"I try to putt with confidence," said Lee. "You need to picture the ball dropping into the cup. Use your imagination and positive thinking."
Lee has been using a Nike OZ T130 putter for nine years. This mallet style putter has all the mass in the back of the head so it has a higher level of Moment of Inertia (MOI), allowing the putter the ability to remain stable through impact and square to the hole. This style is perfect for Lee's slightly arching, pendulum stroke.
"I don't really know why I've used this putter for this long," said Lee. "I loved this putter as soon as I picked it up and never felt the need to change it."
