The 15th at Siam Country Club is a par-4 that can play as short as 265 yards when the front tee is used. Power is valued significantly here: the 15th hole places a greater value on extra length off the tee than any other hole on the course.
The key decision players face on the 15th hole is whether to lay up short of the water or try and drive the green. A tree in the middle of the fairway tests players’ execution with their lay-up, while water and greenside bunkers challenge players who hit driver.
Over half the field went for the green off the tee in 2022 (54%), which is the highest percentage of any par 4 on the LPGA Tour last season.
