Career Highlights
Betsy began her career in golf as a teaching professional, waiting three years before joining the Tour. She had her career low round in her very first tournament and has been a consistently fine player ever since. She has won three times, and had her best seasons back-to-back in '74 and '75.
Amateur
Winner of the Oklahoma Junior championship in 1953 and '54, Betsy also won the Oklahoma Women's Amateur three times, in '54, '55 and '61. She was a semifinalist in the USGA Junior in '55 and a quarterfinalist in the National collegiate championship in 1960.
